Frequently Asked Questions
Who are ESC consultants?
We are 35 seasoned executives from a variety of corporate, professional, and nonprofit backgrounds eager to help nonprofit organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley. The Executive Service Corps offers a world of nonprofit expertise right at your back door.
How much does management consulting cost?
We charge a nominal fee based on your organization's budget. The fee has never been an obstacle for an organization that asks for our help. We are constantly exploring and identifying creative ways to cover fees for deserving clients.
What if we think we need help, but we can't clearly state what the problem is?
Through the information gathered at the initial assesment, the ESC can quickly determine the type of project to best meet your organization's objectives.
Exactly how does the ESC help nonprofit organizations?
It depends on the organization's needs. We might suggest a short-term working session where representatives from your nonprofit explore with our consultants answers to your specific problem. We're also available to facilitate longer board meetings or retreats. And, we can provide coaches for one-on-one interactions with key leaders. A longer-term consultation may involve interviews with board members, staff and other key individuals; review of official documents; attendance at board meetings and organization functions; work sessions; or other appropriate activities.
